- Have three bullet points of the messages you want to deliver in front of you – keeps you on message.
- When the interviewer goes off track or on a tangent – go with it and then circle around to your key points.
- If the interview is getting negative or a place where you don’t want to go. Quickly raise a neutral topic or issue that puts that out.
- If it is a question you don’t want to answer or don’t know the answer it is perfectly fine to say “I don’t know the answer to that let me come back to you.”
- Never use “NO COMMENT”
